My Priorities for PEC

PEC exists to serve its members, and I believe the board should stay focused on reliable energy, responsible growth, and sound financial stewardship that protects member rates.

My priorities are simple:

• Invest in reliable energy infrastructure to meet future needs
• Protect member rates through careful financial oversight
• Prevent cost shifting onto families, ranchers, and small businesses
• Keep PEC focused on its core mission
• Ensure lawful members are treated fairly and consistently

Reliable energy. Responsible growth. Fair rates.

Installing solar on your home is a personal decision, and as a property owner, that choice belongs to you. I respect that, and I will always protect your right to make it.

However, as your PEC board director, my responsibility is to every member;  including those who haven’t chosen solar and never will.

If PEC purchases excess power from members with solar panels, that buyback rate must be competitive or below market. Because when it isn’t, the difference quietly shows up on your neighbors’ bills;  the families, the ranchers, the small businesses who are just trying to keep their costs manageable.

We are a cooperative. We look out for each other. That means your energy choices are yours to make, and I will fight to make sure those choices never come at someone else’s expense.

That is my commitment to every PEC member.

If elected, my focus will be simple:
reliable power, responsible decisions, and fair policies for every member.

I will listen first, ask questions, and make decisions based on what is best for the long-term strength of our cooperative — not short-term pressure or outside agendas.

I support your rights as a property owner, including your ability to make choices like installing solar. At the same time, I will work to ensure that PEC policies remain fair and affordable for all members.

Get to Know Me

I’m a wife, a mom, and a proud member of this community. My husband, Lyle, and I have raised our two sons here, and like many of you, we care deeply about the future we’re building for our families.

Professionally, I’ve spent more than 15 years leading projects, managing budgets, and working with teams to deliver results. Today, I serve in a project management leadership role where I focus on accountability, efficiency, and making sure every decision aligns with long-term goals.

I’ve also had the honor of serving our community through public service, including as a Leander ISD Trustee and on the OneStar Foundation Board. These experiences taught me the importance of listening, working together, and making responsible decisions that serve people well, not just today, but for years to come.

Our family believes in servant leadership. It’s not just something we say, it’s how we live. Whether it’s supporting our local FFA programs or giving back to the community, we believe in showing up and doing the work.

That’s why PEC matters to me. As a member-owned cooperative, it exists to serve you. I’m committed to protecting member dollars, supporting reliable and affordable power, and ensuring decisions are made with transparency and accountability.

This campaign is about the PEC members, responsibility, and doing what’s right for our community.
